100-year-old slab below grade. Adhesive contained asbestos and was removed and concrete was Chemically ebated. The concrete was heavily contaminated.

  1. Shot blast or grind concrete then cap concrete with solid epoxy with below-grade moisture vapor technology then apply primer to the epoxy.

The flooring contractor chose option #2 to give them peace of mind that any moisture concerns were remedied as well as all contaminates were purged from the concrete below grade.
