Mark McVey is the Co-Founder of S3 Surface Solutions. Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision have always embraced new disruptive technologies. In 2011, Mark was presented with the opportunity to purchase his father’s business, specializing in Epoxy Flooring Solutions. During this time, he was introduced to Jack Aspenson and found they shared vision, principles, and goals. This partnership led to the creation of S3 Surface Solutions in 2016. In addition to his knowledge of the flooring solutions industry, he has over 30 years of experience in sales management, client relations, and entrepreneurship. Mark is driven by the unique opportunity to use proprietary ingredients and manufacturing techniques to develop extraordinary and environmentally friendly products. 

Before S3 Surface Solutions, Mark had a 31-year career as an enterprise sales executive, first with Xerox, where he excelled in their world-leading sales training program called Spin Selling. His success with Xerox opened the door to an opportunity with Telular, the developer of the first patented technology to allow data over the cellular network. These experiences led Mark to the enterprise software world, where he spent 20 years working for several start-up software companies, including Centra Software, where he was the number one sales executive for two consecutive years and played an integral part in growing revenue from $3 million to $40 million over three years. Mark’s last endeavor in the enterprise software industry was with Pega Systems, where he was the Regional Director of Sales for the Financial Vertical Market. During his career in the industry, Mark thrived at devising new technologies and provided leadership with change management to Fortune 500 companies, as well as acquiring many high-profile clients such as Nationwide Insurance, Accenture, Aurthur Anderson, Bank of America, TD Financial, Bank of Montreal, Bosh & Lomb, Proctor & Gamble, Kraft, Duff & Phelps, Rockwell Collins, Cigna, and Geico.

Mark is the very proud father of two, Max and Madison. He enjoys skiing, golf, biking, tennis, and hiking in his spare time. Mark attended the University of Wyoming and Burke Mountain Academy.
